Analyses the Construction of the Indonesian Ulema Council Fatwa on the Halalness of the Sinovac Covid-19 Vaccine using the Jasser Auda’s Perspective of Islamic Law Development Models

The spread of hoax news related to whether it is safe or not and the use Covid-19 vaccine lawful has created a pro-contra attitude among Indonesian people towards vaccination program. For this reason, Ulema Council (MUI) issued fatwa provide legal enlightenment on halal vaccine. This study examines in depth construction identifies Islamic law development model used constructing fatwa. research purely philosophical normative uses models proposed by Jasser Auda. results conclude that MUI halalness Sinovac had holistic law. indicated some characteristics inherent namely : (i) wholeness multidimensional character, which universal textual arguments ('aam).
